BIO-REJUVENATION with PRX-T33

This needleless facial treatment combines TCA, Kojic acid, and hydrogen peroxide that stimulate the dermis with minimally aggressive exfoliation. PRX-T33’s unique combination of TCA, Kojic acid, and hydrogen peroxide penetrates into the deeper layers of the skin strengthens, tightens, firms, hydrates, and brightens the skin with little to no peeling, or flaking of the superficial skin layers, or epidermis. The skin is stimulated to create new collagen, fibroblasts, and growth factors creating a more youthful appearance. Improved pigmentation occurs by diminishing sun spots, melasma, and hyperpigmentation. Skin texture is improved by reducing pore size and scar appearance occurs with treatments. After each treatment, the skin is left hydrated with improved texture, even tone, and a reduction in fine lines and wrinkles. Results are felt and seen immediately and subsequent treatments build on the one before. PRX-T33 treatments on average consist of a series of 3-5 treatment sessions that take about 30 minutes to one hour, and are done one week apart in our office.  Maintenance treatments are recommended every 4-6 months.

There is minimal preparation for treatments consisting of discontinuation of retinol products 7 days prior.

There is no downtime and treatments do not create sun sensitivity, which is a plus here in Florida.  There are no needles involved, therefore no marks or bruising are left on the treatment area and make-up can be applied.   Patients can return to their normal activities and routines immediately after treatments.

What should I expect with PRX treatments?

Preparation for PRX-T33 treatments is minimal. Prior to treatment retinoids/retinol must be stopped 7 days prior. PRX-T33 treatments take about 30 minutes to an hour to be performed. The treatment area will be cleansed using a gentle cleanser and then dried. After the area has been prepped with the P solution, PRX-T33 will be massaged into the skin using a small amount of pressure. Depending on the skin’s reaction and the area being treated, the solution will be reapplied 2 to 5 times until desired results occur.  The treatment will be virtually painless; however, there may be some mild stinging experienced during the application. After the PRX-T33 application, the treatment area is washed and rinsed with a soaked pad of water. The area will be dried and a moisturizing and smoothing cream will then be applied.

A facial smoothing cream and moisturizing face cream will be provided to the patient after the treatment for home use. About 30 minutes after the treatment, the patient will apply the moisturizing face cream. Later that evening, the patient will apply the provided facial smoothing cream. These creams are to be repeated 2 to 3 times per day over the next 3-4 days.
