Discontinue retinoids, abrasive skin care, tanning, and certain medications
During Treatment:
Treatment area prepped with numbing cream for 60 minutes then removed. Treatment area cleansed thoroughly with gentle cleanser and prepped with alcohol. Safety glasses are paced on patient. Next the CoolPeel® treatment will be administered, expect to experience a painless warm sensation with the treatment lasting about 30 minutes.
Post Treatment:
Expect some redness in the treatment area with a warm sensation, and there may also be slight swelling, like with a sunburn. You will keep the treatment area clean with a mild cleanser that will be provided to you. You will also need to avoid direct sun exposure for at least one week and use sunscreen daily. For optimal results, typically two treatments are required that are scheduled 4-6 weeks apart.
