What Are Veins?
Facial veins, often known as spider veins, are small, dilated blood vessels that appear near the skin’s surface, creating a web-like or branching pattern. These veins can be visible on the face, particularly around the nose, cheeks, and chin, and may be influenced by factors like genetics, sun exposure, and aging. Leg veins encompass both varicose veins and spider veins, which are enlarged, twisted veins that can be seen under the skin.
Varicose veins are typically larger and may cause discomfort or pain, while spider veins are smaller and often more superficial. Unwanted veins on the face or legs can be effectively treated through various medical procedures, including laser therapy, aiming to improve both the aesthetic appearance and potential discomfort associated with these vascular issues.
